Laser Whitening

First a protective rubber dam is placed over the gums. Using a laser with a whitening
gel, this is an in-office bleaching system. The translucent bleaching gel is applied
to the teeth and a laser light is used to activate the crystals to absorb the energy
from the light and penetrate the teeth enamel to increase the lightening effect
on the teeth. The length of time in the cosmetic dentist's chair depends on the
degree of discoloration you haveThe results of laser whitening are immediate and
usually amazing.

Bleaching
A custom-made mouth guard will be made for placing the bleaching gel into. This
guard assures that there will not be fluid leakage since it is made for each patients
individual needs. The first bleaching treatment is done at Prisma Dental clinic
and subsequent applications can be accomplished by the patient at home.
