Dental implants are used to replace a missing tooth
or teeth, or to support a partial bridge or dentures.
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are substitute teeth roots, resembling screws. The implants are
bonded to the living bone structure, thus preserving both the healthy bone mass
of the jaw and your current facial appearance. They are the optimum treatment for
replacing missing teeth. They are like natural teeth in every way. They are freestanding
and self-supporting teeth, which give longer and healthier life to the adjacent
teeth.
What to expect?
The dental implant procedure is all done at dental faculty. Our implant specialist
gives the gentlest treatment possible to the bone and soft tissue to ensure the
success of the implants. We offer different pain management depending on the necessities
of each patient.
Endosteal implants — these are surgically implanted directly into
the jawbone. Once the surrounding gum tissue has healed, a second surgery is needed
to connect a post to the original implant. Finally, an artificial tooth (or teeth)
is attached to the post-individually, or grouped on a bridge or denture.
Subperiosteal implants — these consist of a metal frame that is
fitted onto the jawbone just below the gum tissue. As the gums heal, the frame becomes
fixed to the jawbone. Posts, which are attached to the frame, protrude through the
gums. As with endosteal implants, artificial teeth are then mounted to the posts.
Following the treatment you will need to avoid strenuous activity and eat soft food
for several days.
Once the implants have bonded securely, the permanent crown or denture can be attached,
giving you the smile of your dreams.
Implants Offered
Alpha Bio was the first implant company to introduce
a tapered, conical dental implant with a large thread step and unique features that
are a revolution in the world of implantology. Dentists and patients choose AlphaBio's
SP1 implant for its incredible primary stability, its ability to change direction
during placement and its notable success rate. The SP1 is AlphaBio's most widely
used implant. The implants, prosthetics and accompanying aids manufactured by Alpha-Bio
Tec naturally integrate into the body, cut the recovery time short, prevent complications
and provide durability for years. In addition, the surface of Alpha-Bio Tec's implants
undergoes a complex process, which significantly increases the implant's ability
to bond with the bone (osseointegration).
MIS Implants
MIS Implants are a life-long choice. MIS Implants are the ultimate generation of
titanium implants that were designed and university tested to be the fastest integrating
implant and to provide the best and strongest attachment to the bone.
